yes. it is a quilting day, I feel it coming on.... there is a green string to work on, a wizard of oz to start ( last fabric finally arrived) and my cathedral window to continue.
plus, my moms red quilted bag,
and my daughters spring dresses.
wonderful wonderful. the sun is shining and Im gonna open the studio windows and let loose!

Cute, I love string quilts. I found a whole stack of blocks in my closet left over from a few quilts I made about 8 years ago, so this weekend I sewed them all together. I don't know I why I waited so long to sew them, it didn't take long at all to do. Anyway now I need to quilt it. I want to do a black and red string, don't you think that would be pretty?
yes, vera -- red and black could be wonderful with a string design, I love playing with the designs . have fun. I couldnt find your blog to respond to you directly, but thanks for checking in
